My beloved rooibos!

"I have loved rooibos tea for years now, both in hot and iced form. Rooibos is very similar to regular black tea, but milder and much sweeter. It is also caffeine free and produces more of a reddish brew. There are many articles on the internet that attest to its rich antioxidant content (some say that it equals or even bests the amount of antioxidants in green tea, so it is a good alternative to green tea for those who do not care for green tea and / or are sensitive to caffeine).
This brewed wonder has affected my life so much that I have written poetry about it. I even made rooibos the preferred beverage of one of the main characters (Victoria) in my book, "Tales from the Boudoir."
Iced with stevia or hot with milk and stevia, or however you want it, you can't go wrong with rooibos. And Dragonwater offers this wonderful tea in an organic form at a great price! I also look forward to trying Dragonwater's green rooibos tea as well. I love it!
Denise C. Floyd, author of "Tales from the Boudoir" :-)"

"I'm fast becoming a fan of rooibos blends. By itself, I found the flavor a little too subtle but with a nice sweet aftertaste. I plan to order more so that I can mix it myself with some fruits and spices. A very versatile, healthy, base tea."

"I enjoyed this tea, although I prefer honeybush. I was a little put off by the smell when I opened the bag (it reminded me of mulch). I think it tasted way better than it smelled. I mixed this with honeybush, and I was very pleased with the result."

"This was my first rooibos tea, and I must say I will stick with herbal infusions. The taste is very slightly acidic, with some straw notes. "

"This tea is not my favorite, but it does make a good cup of tea in the evening. I like to add a little honey to it."

"this Rooibos is the best I've had. Everything good about rooibos was highlighted in the flavor of this tea. If you are considering trying red tea for the first time, this is an excellent way to start."

"I am not a coffee lover nor do I go for 'adding' things to change the flavor. However, I will make an exception with this tea. I really liked it with a touch of honey. Good for a cold night."

"Great at night for colds - the heat is great on your throat, it's full of vitamins, and it leaves your mouth refreshed. Doesn't taste 'weird' when your nose is stuffed up."

Addicted to Bush Tea
|

"I first read about Bush (Red, or Rooibos) tea in the, "Number One Ladies Detective Agency" series. It is the healthiest addiction I have ever experienced! My partner and I love driking it throughout the day, it is a wonderful way to spend a cozy morning waking up, or at break time, or in the evening when it's time to settle down for the day. This is a very special tea."

"Excellent tea as a replacement for coffee. It has a slightly "roasted" flavor, no bitter edge like some true teas have, and a hint of sweetness without being cloying. Great any time of day."

"I was addicted to coffee, I had to quit, so I turned to teas. This was one of the first teas I tried. It was caffine free and alot more antioxidients than green teas. Now I think I'm addicted to Rooibos teas. this tea has a great mellow favor, slightly sweet."

"I especially love this tea iced. With honey and fresh lemon it is unbelivably refreshing especially on hot summer days. It is really nice hot as well. It seems to be naturally sweet so I only add a little honey and some milk for a filling drink that I bring with me in a thermos. Smells great too, kinda fruity, but not. "

"This is my first time purchasing Rooibos, so I was not sure whether I would like the new tea drinking experience; fortunately, it was a tasteful and delightful experience.
I like the fact the Rooibos tea contains more antioxidants than green tea and does not contain caffeine so I am getting a healthful, relaxing and nutritious tea drink consumed hot or cold.
I recommend trying out the Dragonwater Rooibos tea. I also received the Rooibos Pumpkin tea and it surprisingly flavorful and refreshingly GREAT!
Phyllis "
