Description:
Kokeicha Tea. Kokeicha is produced from green tea paste based on Matcha, the tea powder used for the Japanese tea ceremony. The paste is funneled through small holes producing thin, spaghetti-like strings. Once dried, the strings are cut into small pieces approximately 1/4 inch in length. Kokeicha is a satisfying, smooth-tasting tea with nutty notes.

Use 1 heaping tsp per 6 oz cup. Heat water until steaming. Steep for 1 min.

"This has become my second favorite green tea! Especially as my taste usually runs to the most expensive... so for the price and ease compared to the green tea powder from which this is made its a wonderful bargain and taste to match. All the taste of the Matcha powder without all the work. Complex and nutty with that lovely grassy hint. "

"I bought a sample of this because I found it intriguing. I was expecting a cloudy, matcha-like tea with a similar flavor but was pleasantly surprised to find a strong, smooth, full-bodied tea capable of multiple infusions (@180f) that I'll be ordering en masse."

"This tea was interesting. I thought the little things would dissolve in the hot water, but instead they inflate like actual leave do. I found it a little strong too, but if you steep it for a shorter time it's nice. I also got a second infusion and a third would probably be possible."

"I was really surprised how high quality this tea was, it was very pretty looking, but it may be a little strong tasting for my tastebuds. I think I prefer the lighter green teas. The nutty notes are very interesting though to the palate and if you like matcha green tea you will probably like this tea very much."
